The french delegation for Imagine Cup 2007 is the second just after China, but before India, Brazil and others countries...
Let me present you the other french finalists :

In Project Hoshimi (which have been created by France), Regis Hanol, will try for the third time to win the gold medail !

In the category Interface Design, two french teams are involved : Atomnium, composed of Manon Gaucher and Flavien Charlon show you their project on Flavien's blog. The second one, Time Cube with Faustine Amiard and Mauricio Diaz Orlich who will defend french colors by creating an interface by mix the best of the design and the best of the software.

In Software Design, the key category of Imagine Cup, the french team composed of Bastien Ingweiller, Nathalie Pettier, Johanna Piou, Charles Hétier et Vincent Le Quémener invits you to discover their project and adventure on their blog.

Last but not least, in Information Technology, after the gold medail of Stefan Plizga from INSA Lyon, two others sutdents from this school, Romain Larmet et Jean-Benoit Paux are ready to get back the first position !

From the begining of Imagine Cup and until now, France is the first country regarding the number of medails winned. Will we keep this record this year ?

Cette année, la délégation française pour la finale mondiale d'Imagine Cup est la deuxième derrière la Chine, mais devant l'Inde le Brésil, et les autres pays participants.
Ce post est l'occasion de vous présenter les différentes équipes :

Dans la catégorie Project Hoshimi, c'est Régis Hanol, de l'IUT informatique de Montpellier qui disputera la finale pour la 3e fois. On éspère que cette fois ci sera la bonne pour l'or !

Dans la catégorie Interface Design, deux équipes françaises se sont qualifiés : la première, Atomnium, composé de Manon Gaucher et Flavien Charlon vous présentent leur projet sur le blog de Flavien.
La deuxième, "Time Cube" de Mauricio Diaz Orlich et Faustine Amiard vont eux aussi défendre les couleurs de la France en créant une interface mêlant le meilleur du design et du logiciel.

Pour Software Design, la catégorie phare d'Imagine Cup, c'est une équipe de l'ISEN Toulon, composée de  Bastien Ingweiller, Nathalie Pettier, Johanna Piou, Charles Hétier et Vincent Le Quémener qui vous propose d'ores et déjà de découvrir leur projet et expérience sur leur blog.

Enfin, en Information Technology, après le médaillé d'or 2005 Stefan Plizga de l'INSA Lyon, ce sont deux autres étudiants de l'école lyonnaise, Romain Larmet et Jean-Benoit Paux qui tenteront leurs chances !

Pour l'instant, la France est le pays ayant gagné le plus de médailles toutes éditions d'Imagine Cup confondues, réussirons nous à prolonger ce record ?

In other words, we will have to realise a Mashup with the help of FlickR, YouTube, VirtualEarth, FaceBook, SoapBox, dict.org, API, XML, RSS, ...

Nous avons appris aujourd'hui comment se déroulera la finale de notre catégorie. Nous aurons 24h pour développer une nouvelle application web. Le but est de réaliser un site éducatif en utilisant le contenu qui se trouve sur internet.

C'est donc un mashup que nous aurons à créer. Nos amis pour les prochaines semaines seront donc FlickR, YouTube, VirtualEarth, FaceBook, SoapBox, dict.org, API, XML, RSS, ... Tout un programme !
